    we have 3 guys that drive out of my barn (terminal) that are over 70.

    as long as you can pass the physical - you are good.

    To all those that have replied, thanks for the support. I sent the following out to a couple of trucking companies. <<I'm wondering if the following is possible. To have a long haul company to pay half the cost of driver training to obtain a cdl. This gives a trucking company an incentive to hire me and gives me an incentive to remain committed. I would like to drive anytime from April through September and will commit to doing so for the next two to three years. I won't require medical benefits and am not concerned about maximizing a paycheck. >>
    I heard back from one who said most companies probably wouldn't be interested because positions offered are full time and not much if anything is available part time for the months I'm willing to work. Bummer. I'll keep looking. Again, thanks for your response.
