Chad didn’t tell me which paint scheme he was thinking of doing, he did mention maybe having it stretched a little, add the 6x4’s, and having all new interior put in it.

New interior installation is why it went up there to begin with, he’s done pretty good financially with his company so he’s building a toy I guess….

I hold alot of repect for a Monfort truck
When I 1st started driving as a O/O.. Monfort gave me a chance to haul exclusively for them .. it wasn't in meat logistics ..But it was in their livestock logistics..
I thought I had a big truck .. which it was .. but more than once I was pasted by a Monfort truck leaving Greeley ..

Gatordude, bzinger and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this.

I don’t remember what engine Jim said was in it originally, it had the N14 when he had it and a driver blew it up. I found the engine in it now on FB marketplace for Jim, it’s a mechanical C model Cat he had built bottom up with some extra ponies….

I turned my paperwork & scale tickets in to the same office that the meat hauler's had .. sometimes on Sundays mornings I might pass through the office them drivers would be in there getting their paper work .. tell'n each other different things .. 1 thing you'd hear them say is they were planing on be'n on the west coast by sun up the next day
I know they ran both Cat & Cummins .. I showed up around there in late 85.. stayed with em.till the end
I never actualy saw 1 in their trucks .. but rumor had it some of the KW's had KT motors .. but I'am pretty sure that rumor might of been ture ...
