I also worked fir Steinbecker my wife and I drove one of the two I believe Freightliners with a 400 cat and a 4x5 transmission. Drove that truck for a few years until one faithful morning I laid a load of swing meat over on the PA pike at exit 8 I believe. Wasn't one of my better days. I didn't get a ticket out of it witnesses had me under the speed limit. It was the oldest trailer they had and should of had new springs put long before this happened. When they looked the trailer over they found a main leaf on the right front axle had broke most likely when I hit a canyon they called potholes on the Pa pike a few miles before the exit any bottom line was it was a swallow left quarter Circle at the bottom of the ramp and I felt the trailer lean hard to the right as I looked in my mirror right after that was a long turn to the left didn't make if when the load swong back it had extra momentum because of the far left lean of the trailer with the broken leaf on the right well not hard to figure it out from their. We really liked that truck to sucked the it was wrecked.
