Old Dominion - Dock worker to P&D Driver

    If they offer you both a P & D route....Take it. You would both be working similar hours and home time would be much better and you would still be making good money.

    You have to work the dock 6 months before you can enroll to the school, whenever you obtain your license you have to run P&D and linehaul with a trainer. Once your a fully licensed you be running wild for a while til you get a route.

    You’ll get good at backing in a hurry, but out there in CO he might have a fair bit of highway running to do if they give him a run with some stem time.

    I wouldn’t go that far, but I have it too good where I’m at. Sounds like a hell of a deal for a new driver to be though.

    You both get in there doing team driving OTR. Your household will be pulling in a quarter million a year.

    What's Old Dominions DUI policy.. like for some companies it's like 5 years .. I currently drive for publix and they go back 7 years how far back does OLD Dominion Go??????

    You are thinking about leaving Publix? I heard that job is gravy. I have applied to forklift jobs in Lakeland just trying to get my foot in the door.
