Went to TDI in Murfreesboro. The school moved to Christiana, a few miles away.

You'll make a lot more money than I did. I did OTR because I can't stand routine; the same routes every day. I like "irregular route" trucking, which means never know where the next load will go; anywhere in the USA.

Agree. I lived in Florida and now Nevada. Can see the Las Vegas strip from here.
Weather is great here year round. Humidity is low, so even on the hottest days can run the air conditioner at about 72 degrees and it's very comfortable inside the house. Can go for exercise walks and barely break a sweat.
No state income taxes and no food taxes at the grocery store. Low property taxes also.

If you think an area like this is what you want, Old Dominion has a terminal here. Maybe can transfer later. Get the CDL and all the endorsements.

Here's where I live; great area for a family.
    Home - Seven Hills
    ~
High in the southern foothills of Henderson, Nevada, the 1300 acre master plan of Seven Hills meanders along the top of the McCullough Mountain Range overlooking the city of Las Vegas. This community is home to twenty-five distinct neighborhoods with almost 3,000 homes and condos, including approximately 300 custom estate homes in guard gated enclaves. Residences range from affordably price homes and condominium complexes all the way to luxury neighborhoods with sumptuous mansions going past the $5,000,000 mark.

With almost a third of the development devoted to open spaces, Seven Hills is noted for its outdoor family living and incredible views of the valley below. Four large city parks offer basketball, volleyball, tennis courts, soccer fields and playgrounds for residents to enjoy, as well as miles of scenic walking and biking trails. Surrounding this tranquil environment is an area filled with gourmet restaurants, boutique shops, theaters and sports centers.

The centerpiece of Seven Hills is the 7,250 yard Rees-Jones designed Rio Secco 18 hole championship golf course built in 1997 and the Butch Harmon School of Golf. The stunning elevation changes and challenging desert holes make Rio Secco a favorite venue for the annual Wendy’s Three Tour Challenge. Local residents can sign up as volunteers for the Challenge and watch their favorite golfers compete for charity in a relaxed and playful setting. Tiger Woods holds the course record with the low score of sixty four.

Plenty of places she can work with that degree.
I love the Spanish style homes here. That's what we bought. Cream color stucco outside with reddish color tile roof.
