    Good. Deal. Don't take it for granted. Know guys who had jobs there and got mad about dumb stuff and guit. The two I knew bothsaid later they made a mistake wish they worked there.one of them wasn't a week and said it was a mistake guiting

    That's why it takes me weeks or even months to ponder if I should quit a job. There's BS at any job it's just the amount of it that should determine if you should continue working there or not.

    After quiting a company like OD I'd imagine there are not many companies to go to without it being a downgrade.

    Old Dominion took from us the only dispatcher we've ever had that was actually worth a crap.

    Everybody else I've ever talked to that works for them seems to like it there. I couldn't go there now because I have a run I like, and they don't service that area from their Baltimore yard.

    OD took (rightfully so, the company I worked for back then was horrible...still is, in fact) two dispatchers, one operations manager, about five drivers, and at least that many dock workers.
    May have ended up there myself, if I hadn't been able to get my sleeping problems under control since I work nights.

    Lifelong childhood buddy of mine does linehaul at OD, he makes excellent money and is very happy. He left a union gig about 12 years ago, landed the OD job, and now runs daylight linehaul Monday-Friday.
