I apologize if you thought I was saying you said that about school. I was just telling him that I was going to Swift and they werent going to make me go thru school again just go with a mentor. When I was speaking with some companies about coming back to driving they would say "Well you'll have to go back to school and then we'll hire you as a student" I even had one company tell me to go to CRE school. I told them nevermind. :biggrin_25519:

Oh ya--a lot of company's try to pull that on ya. Its just a money racket i think. I had same thing as i was looking to come back out-but swift never even mentioned it. LOL i wound't tell my worst enemy to go to CRE for any reason. :biggrin_2554:

I agree about CRE. I worked for them for 2 weeks years ago. I knew something was wrong when I went to my DM in SLC and had to pass through a metal detecter. I know I'm slow on the uptake sometimes, but that was loud and clear. LOL:biggrin_25519:

I'm not sure on your refresher stuff. But I have a good friend that started at swift with me, for that really low rookie pay. He went to look at getting a lease. When he was there they pointed out he should be at a higher pay due to his past experience. figured I would let you know, so maybe you can get better pay.

That is true--they gave me starting pay of experience verified--so its all good. Also told me in 6 months it would go up as well--so we will see. :)

Thanks Hasrob! I can attend a full CDL class at Johnston CC PTDI certified course for 600.00. Even with hotel expenses, it'll cost far less than $3900 and I can go with any carrier.
