fuzzy, if your civil rights are fully restored, does that mean you have a pardon? if so, then your record would be sealed and you DO NOT have to tell them you have a felony.

Even if you do get them restored the record is still intact and public information.
You can get your record expunged (sp) and sealed if you also apply to the courts. However there are some charge's that they will not expunge and your gonna have to live with it. Family job services was able to find out for me that information also. -
Woody there is a difference here. My federal felony is 19 yrs old, my civil rights (voting and most others except owning a gun) were restored immediately upon completion of sentance. This is common in most every state. That does not mean my record is sealed and in MN I suspect the samething. If an app. asks if you EVER been convicted of a felony then you still have to report it, if it asks if in the LAST 10 YR, then I don't have to tell them.
Hence the reason I asked him if he has a pardon or not, becuase that makes a difference. -
If you do not mind a move I bet he would hire you . give him a call . hell he hired me and a couple others I know that are all felons for things from drugs to manslaughter and everything in between .SRA427 Thanks this. -
