Old-man shoulder pain

    I'm almost 60yrs old and have been driving a truck for 8 years. My shoulders get very sore when I'm driving to the point I'm constantly repositioning to get some relief. Are their some targeted exercises that would help me?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Adjust your seat. You can sit too high, too low, too close, too far, lean toward, or lean away from steering wheel which will affect shoulder, also change your position often.
    Avoid anything with CBD or other things sold in convenience stores, bong stores, head shops EVEN IF IT CLAIMS TO BE ALL NATURAL OR THC FREE. Your shoulder didn't start hurting because you suddenly lack whatever they sell in tablets or capsules. The long-term answer may be weight training to strengthen your shoulders.

    Find a good chiropractor. Usually they can also recommend some simple exercises to help strengthen whatever is weaker and out of adjustment. Google and youtube are your friend.

    I've worn a back brace since my Mack R model days( 80s) and I think it could help you too. Keeps you from slouching. Those "copper" jobs look like they work well. Otherwise, every 2 hours, stop, and get out, if only for a lap around the truck, does wonders, and you get to check the truck over too.

    Most of my shoulder pain happens when I’m asleep. I have to pile the pillows up in a way to make a valley and lay sideways in the valley. I reckon that the really big hulked up bodybuilders have to sleep setting up like the elephant man.

    Here we go again I have to give out advice again for free if your shoulder hurts or anything this is what you do.Nothing you do nothing to fix it you just complain about it constantly be a man.Your welcome

    Lower your arm rests. Resting arm on door ledge or having armrests high can aggravate or cause thoracic outlet syndrome which is very painful shoulder pain
