On some Petes I work through the fresh air inlet on the side of the cab. Bought a long small tube connected to a regular air blow nozzle. Plumbed it up to a garden hose. Have a second one with regulated air. Wash blow wash blow etc. Make sure the drain is open for it to run out the bottom.
Have often got by without going into the system.
