Atta boy, you got chutzpah, and that , my friend, will get you in,,however, one minor problem, the last O/O just left for the coast. I've walked into trucking firms, saying a similar thing, "I'm a natural born lever puller, and you'd be stupid NOT to hire me",,I don't recommend that today, but I say, go into these places. I have a feeling you, especially from Texas, have no trouble looking someone in the eye and say, I'm your man. It will make you stand out above the rest, and a refreshing turnaround from the folks with criminal records with no other choices. Please be careful with cows,,,

 

Do you have any experience with cattle outside of trucking?

Well good luck to you, I feel confident in saying O/O will treat you better, more honestly, and with more respect than the vast majority of big trucking firms.
TEXAS is tough though, just not a lot of cattle freight there.
Used to be lots of steers and, uh, something else, I can't remember right now....Anyway I think they got rid of the steers.
