Old timers, was it really better before technology?

Yea your body getting use to being asleep in that position is not a good thing.

Took our grandson with me yesterday to load some miniature tires, pulled into a Truckstop up in Circleville, Ohio on the way up. Grandson tells me, papaw… there’s something moving on the dash of that truck over there!

Well I figured a cat or small dog lol, nope…. It was a big green bird kinda like a parrot looking thing. It’s right behind that white square in the middle of the windshield. And while looking at it I realize the driver has his head down on the steering wheel…..

 

I'm not the best house keeper what with all the mud we are in, but danged if I could stand to have all the crap on the dash let alone the bird. Messy and screws with defroster vents.

 

I keep my wallet on the dash and have a calculator there as well, but I don’t care for the clutter on the dash. Pulling a lowboy gets you off road quite a bit at times, and it’s hard to keep some of the mud out, but that’s a good reason for the small broom behind the seat….

 

Nothing on the dash period can't stand it looks crappy. Hate dirt in the truck even in side boxes. I might have alil bit of OCD
