First off I thank you for your service to our great nation. I too was USN 1966-68. Big Boys was always a priority with me rather than fight the traffic at the other big 3 stops at exit 106. My wife and I have stopped here since the remodel and the food is still good and reasonable. Always parking and a lot less traffic to deal with.

    650CAT425,
I agree on the chrome shop and their selection was the best. I have purchased quite a few pieces here that you could not find anywhere else. Many, many years ago my family even stayed in the motel while visiting Kings Dominion and the restaurant was awesome. That was long before it all went to hell and nasty.

How about the Trailways Truck Stop on Rt. 301, Queenstown, Md and Big Charlies on Rt. 13 in Virginia Beach? Pedricktown at exit 7 on 295 in Jersey is another "classic" truck stop, but it has been closed for quite awhile.

It’s been over 3 years since I was at trailways. Someone had kicked in all the shower doors and busted the door frame.

Trailways was always a great old truckstop for us that ran US 301 instead of I-95 but has long since gone down the toilet. Another was One Stop Truck Stop in Newburg, Md just before the toll booths on US301 at the 2 lane 301 toll bridge before Va. border. That owner is an ignorant foreignor that does not care about anytging but his wallet. Big Charlies was also pretty good years ago and still is the only game in the Norfolk area. Pedricktown Truck Stop was a daily stop for me when I lived in Burlington, NJ. It still is standing but evidently not for sale. I would love to buy it.

Remember Sandman Truck Stop or the Bordentown Junction? Sandman was a rat's nest well known for trouble, women of the night and more trouble and now is a Loves. The Bordentown Junction became the Petro and is huge and expensive especially parking.
