You could try looking at this site their used to site listing companies that we even trucker own and run by women. Lady was on satellite radio had companies owned by women I don’t think she on satellite radio anymore

1st, let me say, welcome aboard, you came to the right place. To clarify right off, this issue is not gender related. You want to hear horror stories of gender related abuse, my ex-gf started trucking in the 80s, and the stories she told would curl your hair. We see a slew of people shafted by schools and companies, and doesn't matter who you are, insurance has a pretty tight grip on who gets in. Don't give up, you have your foot in the door, and don't get too hung up on hooking( as long as it's correct) or backing, you find out pretty quick what works and what doesn't. If you can, go to these places, and Lord knows, Chinatown has a virtual Rolodex of companies that need you, and it may take a few"swings", but I think you are on your way. I too would suggest a women's group like Brandt mentioned, if for no other reason, it gives you the confidence you so sorely need in something like this. Don't give up, eh?

It's simply a difference between men and women.

 

Hmmmm....that feels a little chauvenistic. I mean one's BS tolerance varies from individual to individual, regardless of gender. I mean.....you gotta be somewhat compliant if you want to last in the industry.
