I'm older than he is. I don't talk to myself. Yet.
@201 needs to get a pet...maybe a badger or a ferret, something that matches his disposition. ;)
My brother is older than I am and he talks to machinery...'Cats, loaders, chainsaws, wood splitters....but never to himself. I work with him sometimes and he'll go days without saying anything to anybody. No polite small talk, no forgettable #### chat about politics...no words at all.
He's made a vocation out of being quiet...and that's great. When he does say something, people tend to listen.

Thanks for letting us know. Should I ban you starting right now and erase all your posts or would you like a little breathing room first?

Ban me for what, being honest? You have people here calling this country a shxxhole, and that's okay? Look, I've butted heads with you more than once, and I apologize, I'm tired of the constant tomfoolery that's called trucking today. It was an honorable job during my time, no need to ban me, I'm done anyway. Good luck with the future, and I'm a gone,,

Hauling lumber, no tarp. I try to put a extra 2×4 on my 4x4 under both ends of trailer.
This tilts the stack and helps prevent the pieces from sliding out the ends. I also cross straps on the ends.
I guess with a tarp you won't have that problem.

@201 ...I didn't mean "ban you" as a form of punishment, I only meant to help your departure. Actually, you can do your own ban by just not posting anymore. Remember X1 Heavy? He finally quit posting and now very few people even remember him.
    Anyways, good luck to you.

Always have a bottle of 7up or Sprite to pour on the end of a unit if boards start walking out. Or if you start noticing “problem loads” from places you go a lot you can just tarp and save yourself the hassle and keep everything on your trailer. There was a place I used to load pallet stock and got to where I’d just tarp so I didn’t have to stop every hour and fiddle with the load.
