That was the conversation I was talking about, I made one comment and was deleted/blocked before I could reply to someone else's comment to me. Too bad, the pics were very interesting to say the least. I have some pics of one in Columbiana, Ohio that my parents and I lived in a trailer park behind for a couple of years.

I found one somewhere in the back Hills of Kentucky about 15 years ago I swear it must have been built in the thirties and for the life of me I can't remember where it was I was so doggone tired that night when I pulled into the dirt lot I do remember the shower was about as big as a closet and they had straw on the wooden floor to keep the floor from getting muddy from all the rain outside I felt like I was in a serious time- warp that night

Blue jeans, x1Heavy and Intothesunset Thank this.

In my time Dixie Home was a base for that part of the USA.

Even now I can taste that cooking which was pretty important when done right. I did enough work there abouts to need it.

TTT was active on 10 near to Nogales when we would load out of that town. TTT was probably up to the 2001 time period for us, active with a lot that featured a series of moon craters big enough to eat trucks.

Second the Secondi. It certainly has been around a while.

There are also a few I remember but are no longer existing and that's going way back.

Isn’t that just about what current company drivers make with the cpm - the bs deductions?

Wife and I delivered a load from San Diego to the east coast in Maryland in 2 days and 4 hours. Definately possible for team drivers. It is also easy to average 50 mph with necessary stops.
