A great group of professional ladies run this orientation.
Day 1:
Physical evaluation with 70 lbs. Up on 50" inch shelf and back down. Carry 70 lbs back and forth 3 times for 53ft. Pull 100lbs, push 200. Duck walk under a platform. Climb same platform. They strap a heartbeat monitor on you and check your max heart rate.
If you have a long form that is less than 90 days old, then you don't have to get a physical but you still get the honor of pissing in a cup.
Videos, driver tech, and a short run on the simulator.
Day 2:
More videos and driver tech training. Also, time on simulator.
Day 3:
Policies and procedures. More training on the driver tech system. Life on the road training. Simulator broke (thank goodness, it drives nothing like a real truck). Hazmat training.
Day 4:
Maintenance, pre and post trip. More life on the road training. Drive a truck for 5 miles.
Day 5:
Professional driver agent assigned to you. This guy knew his stuff.
Laid back. They feed you well. Hotel is real nice.
Go here with a good attitude! These ladies make you feel appreciated right from the start.
