I have a queation. Why did your hubby stop on the side of the road? If he has the 6th sence that most people do not use. It may have been a warning of danger ahead. That is not uncommon to have that gift and only people do not hear their inside gut feelings. Only humans will walk in to a burning building, animals run away. If your inner self says stop or you have a bad feeling come over you, heed the warning. Pull off the road or slow down and keep your eyes open. I could save your life or some else's life. I know, it has saved my life a few times.

You guys are very lucky. My buddy's dad was in the same type of accident. He was dead heading for Schneider and hit a flat bed, same scenario. He didn't make it out of his truck that night. Keep on lookin, there will be something. Definitely look at smaller operations first.

    Watch me...

    I will ALWAYS trade,
"he should not have been there, now I am dead, burned to death"
    for
"I think I will go slow enough that I can stop for whatever might be ahead in my lane. Whenever it might appear."

Appointment times, Dispatchers, paychecks or number one signs be ######~

    How about another?

Gamble with your money, not your life!

Some of you smart know it all drivers that think you can go slow enough to avoid these type of accidents will have your own soon enough. Not that I want it to happen, but it will. I have seen this stuff to much. Give your blow hard advice and then. "God makes sure you learn" I feel for this couple. and I don't see where in any way they were at fault. I hit a tree trying to avoid a car that was stopped in the middle of the road one time. The arm chair lawyers at that time were saying that I should of hit the car. You just can't win with arm chair lawyers, plain and simple!

Like I said... I know from experience. Totaled my GTO. Learned the hard way about being a know it all. Now I feel for people who have these things happen. Don't go and tell them everything that they did wrong. More Love and less ridicule goes along ways!
Also, I was going LESS than 35

Do not confuse assigning responsibility for lack of compassion.
