They changed the sleeper split from 2/8 to between 2 and 3 to between 7 and 8 (10 total). Other than that, the rules are pretty much the same. Dont know if you experienced that silly "must have 2 periods between 2am and 5am to get your 34 hr reset" thing but if you did, that is gone now. On the IVG to use the split, there is a little box that says something like "pair to SB" on the log screen, you need to touch that (it puts a check mark in it when you do) to use the split sleeper.
Oh, and the 1/2 break doesnt have to be off duty. You can mix and match on or off duty as long as you spend at least a half hour not driving (so your fueling time counts as break time for example). If you used to run legal, you will actually like the ELD. If not, well, welcome to hell
