    I'm just the driver, above my pay grade.

    .... and when I ask the young lady in charge of safety.. well, argumentative, I'm just the dumb truck driver, what do I know?

    Besides, as I said previously, I'm am tired of trucking. Figured I should just grab a desk job working at a tech firm as a server admin or computer programmer.

    Maybe even for Omnitracs. I'm guessing the backend is programmed in C+ or C++ maybe I can fix it to work right ;) lol

    That sux because it could end up on your CDL because she isn't willing to make a call. Just for info-sake, the first two things I would check are (1) are you on old software. And (2) do they have what is called "Canadian Roaming" set up in the account.

    The whole system has been going though updates over the past months. Lots of issues and problems, not just with my truck.

    I'm a Canadian Carrier so I would hope Canadian roaming would be setup as default.

    However Omnitracs is a US company, maybe its worth the call.

    We will see tomorrow. They have asked me to drop by the office. :(

    You definitely have CDN roaming on then. They have indeed been pushing a lot of software updates over the last few months. We have had to do several "resets" this week and had to push new software to some units that had really old versions. Have the unit turned on at the truck and have the office admin call 800-541-7490. They can fix the software version remotely (if needed) and they can do a reset of all of the apps. The reset fixed several for me this week that were activating similarly to what you describe. For what it's worth...

    I appreciate that.

    I'm just not sure tomorrow if I will be pulling my truck and putting it on with a different carrier.

    I need a company that will stick up for the driver, not blame the driver.

    So anyone know of some good companies in WinterPeg? (Winnipeg, MB)

    The other option is get my own authority and a different ELD system. Today I was looking at stti.com my friend uses them.. never had any issues and he runs BC & Washington state.

    I've been driving for a major furniture company for just over a year and all they want to raise me is one cent from 42 to 43. Get home every weekend, but I'm sure there are better companies. When all this BS straightens out who do you recommend working for? I know most of the mega companies like CR England, Werner, Swift, and JB #### are BS. Any suggestions? I saw MGR is paying 60 cents a mile, anyone heard of them?
