You can always get on with a company like swift, C.R England, Prime, and i think central refrigerated's school is right there in Fontana. Sure, most of these programs make you sign a year lease but i also live in california and i can tell you that before you pick a school you need to pick a company you want to work for because a lot of companies are picky about what school they accept and it would be a waste to throw $3,000 out the window. My advice to you would be use the search engine box up top and just start reading as much as you can about companies the good and the bad. Then when you find one with the the least amount of "bad" that fits your needs see if there is a private school you can attend in your area that the company will accept, that way you put yourself through school and don/t have to sign a contract with the company, and you know the company will accept that school. Or you can get on with swift, england, prime, or central and they will put you through their own school and you'll have a job after without having to worry about if the company will accept your local truck school.

You can still have a dream, but listen to what this guy says. -
Look at community colleges in your area. Many have driver training programs. They are also well versed at helping you with WIA funds if you qualify.

Is this said 93' freightliner? You are right. the training is really good & I think learning on the old truck will make me appreciate the new ones all the much more. I like going out 23 on the early drive to Shady Maples.
