He has a good case going to plead that way....lol
If it's going to Gary they will probably put a heater in the van.
Always call ops sounds like you saw the total pay and they relayed it and forgot to break out the difference. My guess is you learned a lesson. -
That's what I got to the truck or O/O rate.
Short loads in PA are a gold mine here. -
Oh I made a big deal multiple times saying I have a dry van not a reefer.
They said all their loads usually are for reefer but not this one and that's why all their bills print out the same.
I think I heard them say it's a load of cereal. It is going to general mills.
All I did was drive it 42 miles to the Gary yard and drop it for a relay. A lot of loads they have sitting in the Gary yards, I'm about to pick one up going to Michigan now -
Schneider only has Dry Van load board.
Another thing that's different between Landstar is the rate you see is the rate you get, you don't have to deduct 35% off the top of linehaul and figure out your rate like at Landstar.
And no lol Schneider doesn't have reefers and that's probably a good thing because those would be some busted up ancient reefers considering how Schneider keeps their trailers. -
Okay I called Schneider and they said.. "The shipper knew they were loading onto a Dry Van not a Reefer in the first place" but "I'll note your info down on this load but you shouldn't have anything to worry about"
ironpony Thanks this. -
The Tannersville load was a previous load I did. I was just giving examples.
This load I dropped at a Schneider terminal. -
I didn't know it was a relay when I booked it, that info didn't show. Once it was assigned though then that info came through.
Can they change the pay on a load after you booked and did the load? I mean the load did say "point A to point B.. Total revenue to the truck is $" when I booked it.
I've got my screenshots ready for a firestorm if need be lol. -
Obviously depends on the product. He said he thinks its a load of cereal. No problem. If it were bananas in winter or ice cream in summer, it would be a different story.
Much ado about nothing. -
Good question...I would definitely keep a copy of the load info...also inquire at sni Because I would think they would have to let you know there's a change in the rate after booking..
