See, OldSkool - I'm young (33 in July), so I've no personal experience with this, but I'm capable of recalling the errors of the past. Not fond of history, but it's accessible.

    That wall.

The one between East & West Germany. Was it loved or loathed, Mr. Gorbachev? And now some corpulent, lined-pocketed figurehead wants to put up a wall..... History repeats itself: historically. And it seems most people are too thick to take a step back and ask 'hasn't this been done already?'...... The answer is usually 'yes' and it failed.

    Pardon the politico-historical rant. :-(

Stop by sometime, I still use hand cranks lol ;). Have 2 engines that your body weight is the crank , Harley's kick, Bessemers actually throw you across the yard :D when it kicks with those 68 inch flywheels. Many ways to do most things in life but, some ways are easier on you if you just know what to do, unfortunately many did not have the opportunity to learn the easy way.

    I'm an observer first.
So if I do stop by, I'm watching your ### get dusted-up first.
    Then I'll try it. :)

And this is what you'll see lmao!!! Always pull the crank, never push the crank..... 1st lesson in keeping your knuckles and pearly whites ;):D. So many want to put the crank on 12:00 an push down past 6 and pull it back up, WRONG way:eek:.... Always pull, if an engine is set right it only takes 1/2 a turn for it to fire off.

Kick-stand starts, the sound of the Harley when it gets started. I'm not around Harley's as much as I was in my teens / early 20's. I haven't even realized they are not quick start anymore. The propeller had a better technology when I came into this world. I do remember seeing them in a documentary.

It would have to pay 100k plus a year for me to sit in front of that camera all day! Screw that!
All of these fleets want to watch every move you make......just a bunch of BS in my opinion!

Drive how you feel comfortable...If they say anything tell them to stick that camera and you don't need a babysitter.

Man,trucking has went down the crapper!

All ways two hands on the wheel heh? I wonder how this would fit with all the old timers who used to take both hands off the wheel to shift the 5-4 trannys? Remembers those days guys?

Grubby, AModelCat, Joetro and 2 others Thank this.

There several families surrounding a recent truck crash who would disagree with this.

Yet another apparent distracted driving crash that has killed 4 just posted here yesterday. And surely there will be 2-3 of these every week, as there have been every week for the past several years.

The truck accidents forum is full of high-speed rear end crashes from distracted truck driver incidents that serve as reason for more and more cameras in trucks. I don't like it either but we have done this to ourselves, as a trade and industry that is always prevalent on public roads full of stopped traffic.
