One quick fix

What am I supposed to do, work for free to make the "poor" rich? Naw I don't think so, they need to figure out how to make more money to surive, or make their current money last by pinching pennies. We as businessmen need to FOCUS on OURSELVES first that we make money before we start worrying about other people. Make money first as a businessman and then ONCE you can make a good profit then give back to america...

Maybe the poor people should go back to school, get a better job, heck get a second job, make the house wife/husband go back to work, sell their big SUV in for a better gas mileage car, etc. etc. etc. etc.

I can go on and on, but it is not MY problem to why the lower income people are going broke. I don't care what year it is, the poor is ALWAYS strugling!

 

i dunno about that...ive dispatched for 5yrs and own my business for 3 yrs now and coast to coast freight is not where it was 4yrs ago and im pretty sure im not the only one that thinks so, as far as i remember we used to deadhead trucks to CA to move their produce at 2-3.00a mile when deisel used to be 1.80/gallon....now the rates are same however diesel trippled since then.

 

See there is your problem, you are more worried about a period in a sentence than the issues that are destroying this Country. You go ahead and take care of the punctuation problems and leave the real problems to people that care and are willing to correct them, that way both problems will be corrected by the people best able to deal with them.

Take the time to ferret out what you thought the person was saying and reply to that, subsequent answers will prove or disprove your surmise of what they were saying originally.

He's not talking about greed here, master, he's talking about personal responsibility. Each person on this world has the responsibility to make for themselves a better life. If they choose not to do what needs to be done, they can be left by the roadside to chew on their own inaction. We, as a society, should not be coerced into feeling guilty about it.

Your holier than thou attitude is what is destroying this country faster than the "greedy" you rail against. And to tell someone he isn't welcome here is the height of conceit on your part. Perhaps you should take a good, hard look in a mirror and then look up the sin of pride.

That is exactly what I am talking about, I dont' make millions of dollars a year raping people. All i am tryign to say is everyone does have their own responsibilty to make a decent living and it can be done. I am also saying we have the responsibilty to run a profitable business, unlike many people here who quickly overlook the real problem here.

Ok just for my own clarifiation here, how did this go from one refusing cheap loads and refusing to run a business that does not profit, to a diatribe about greed?

And second, did that diatribe even have a point?
