That would be sweet if it never drove on salt roads. Would suck to get salt all over the bike.

Instead of just having to pay the HVUT on it....You may also have to file property taxes too.....:biggrin_2559:

Looks like his wagon is a Conestoga....Much like the ones I see haul OSB from OR/WA down to LA and then haul roofing from GAF ("Elk" in Shafter or the GAF in Fontana) back up North.....I bet it doesn't get as dirty as you might think.....

Wheelbase is close to 300-inches, maybe a hair over, but, not by much if it is. You can run a 300-inch wheelbase on a single frame, so, the truck wouldn't be that heavy actually. Heavier than a plastic Freightliner at 230-inch wheelbase, but, probably no more than 20,000lbs. at the outside most bobtail (and without the bike).

Even though it shouldn't weigh this much, we'll say 21,000lbs with the bike on. Another 15k for the trailer at most, depending on composition, etc. This is assuming its a 4-axle flat and that he's running in the NW using a "Maxi" set-up. He's legal for 105,500lbs. if my memory is right an an 8-axle maxi set-up, and about a 35-36,000lb. empty weight. He can get 69-70,000lbs. on it where he runs likely.

I guess if I could afford that truck and setup, I would be able to afford being home everyday too.

Sweet setup, my bike used to ride in the covered wagon. No way she would ride on the side but hey they like it that all that matters.

    Busa had no chances.

Hook an all Alumnium revolution trailer to it and you wouldn't need overweight permits to haul Dixie Cups lol

See how far back both trucks have the fifth wheel. Way past center of tandem.

If that was me I'd just put the bike under the sliding tarp and forget about being a show-off!
