Looking to get some info on this broker. Has anyone worked with them?
How long does it takes them to pay.
Any CPM info. I know rates are negotiable, just want to get an idea what they offer.

They are picky with their contract and how long you’ve had your authority. There’s plenty of other outfits with loadout and tow away trailers.

Their rates were always too low for me to take the load.

I plan to activate my old mc# from 1996, so new authority shouldn’t be a problem. Unless they find out that it was inactive for 10 years.
Was looking into power only, but that really depends on the rates. Have seen some rates at $1.40 -1.50/ mile and that’s low. If I can get closer to $2 that will work for me.
Can anyone chime on the rates for power only?
Planing to run CA to Midwest and back.

Your authority will be considered new. They look up your number and go by the active date, which will be this year. They don't care how much prior experience you have (I was in the same boat, speaking from experience).

Power only is rough. Really rough. You never know what condition the trailer is in. You work twice as hard to find not only a load out trailer, but a load going to the same destination. The rates stink. What you saw is what it is. If you can do, I highly recommend getting a trailer, or renting one, right away. It's the trailer that makes the money. I can recommend a trailer rental if you need it.

Thanks @Michael H. I’ll look into trailer rental. Going with dry van this time. Don’t want to see the inside of a refrigerated warehouse ever again.

What trailer rental company would you recommend for dry van and what are their terms and conditions?
We are based an hour and a half north of Dallas, TX. Thanks

Not ignoring you, gotta get my laptop out of the truck(which is in a repair bay). I have a perfect one for you, and fairly close.
