Just got home from talking to a trucking school about possibly taking their AZ course here in Southern Ontario. Guy told me I would have no problem getting a job with an AZ. I asked him about all the ads stating you needed experience to apply for most advertised trucking jobs. He said that was for insurance purposes and that is why their school belongs to a bunch of different associations for certification etc. He says he has extensive industry contacts and certain companies that only hire from his school. Also seemed to give what I thought were some pretty exaggerated first year earnings in trucking. He says $60 to 80 thousand in 1st year is possible.. Just didn't seem to jibe with what I seem to be reading on forums etc. He also says there is no shortage of people with AZ licenses, just a shortage of "qualified" drivers which is what they turn out Any/or all of this sound like BS?? Thanks.
Ontario Canada--is this accurate??
