Looks like they changed it to 282 inches for a tractor, so I think you would be good.
-
They did extend the tractor wheelbase allowance, but not the overall vehicle length, so you maybe limited to a 48 foot.
I thought they only went to 266”. Could be wrong. -
I stand corrected. Yes, 282” you are good to go. If longer, then the trailer has to be shorter.

23m max length or 75'6"
If pulling 53' then you get 7.2m when pulling 53', still limited to 23m total length. If trailer is 48' you can have any truck wheelbase, still same 23m total. Up to 6.2m (244"-typical in canada) trailer wheelbase must not be more than 12.5m measured kingpin to center of axle group. As tractor wheelbase increases the trailer wheelbase decreases an equal amount. So 7.2m tractor means trailer wheelbase max 11.5m.
Don't get caught with more than 35% rear overhang also! You may be doing quite the balancing act!uncleal13 Thanks this. -
I knew 282'' is the the new longest wheelbase allowed anywhere except Manitoba. Did someone put some sense into Manitoba finally?
