OOIDA tire discount ?

    Has anyone used the ooida national preferred customer tire discount program? I guess it's works with Michelin and Bridgestone ......



    I have an account with local Bridgestone dealer, super service but not much of a discount . Only have 1 truck..........

    I am happy with pricing I receive from them.

    I have both and OOIDA is cheaper than Michelin Advantage. I've used it and was happy with the prices. It's better not to put mounting and balancing thru the account, I've found that it's cheaper to pay cash for those.

    I can usually beat their pricing with a local tire distributor. But, they can help when on the road.

    You can call michelin with the ooida account number and they will give you the price. Then to purchase you have to register a credit card with them, then you go to a michelin dealer, give them the ooida account number and your membership number, the purchase gets charged to the credit card you registered.

    I'm curious too- I joined the California Construction trucking Association and they are on board with Michelin too. My issue is wondering if a discounted Michelin is cheaper than a full price other (double coin, Bridgestone, Toyo etc). I'm new to a class 8 so I've still got some learning to do!

    I looked into the ooida plan. For Bridgestone only.


    R280 - 11R24.5 -16 ply $517.74 plus fet $34.59 =$552.33

    I do believe my local Bridgestone dealer will beat that price I will check ASAP .

    The prices may be better than a truck stop but no bargain .... They will do emergency roadside service that's about the best benefit .

    My local guy would beat those prices on Bridgestone's as well.
