You are not the first to fall into this. Trust me I have dealt with a lot of people that have been scammed by schools. Some have had all kinds of stuff like, making meth, selling meth, burglary, arson, all kinds of never get hired past, but the schools told them no problem as well. Many people have put a school on their credit card and got stuck not getting a job. There are good schools and bad ones. Anymore trucking companies are not the only thing you have to research. Sorry to hear that you are having problems with this.

I wonder if he would have better luck with just a small time local hauler until we can either try to get this resolved or until enough time has passed where they won't consider it.

He has already stepped in it. Might as well try to wade through it. It will be tough. Might not be a good paying job. Might have to settle for less, but I would keep looking.

We will take just about anything right now. He doesn't need to make a ton (I'm the primary bread winner) just enough to help us make ends meet.

Thanks for all of your input.

You are welcome. One thing to consider though and it happens some companies will take on a driver knowing they have issues against them. They know that they are limited. Some will hold this over your head with pay, runs, or try to make you run illegal. Their threat you will do it or we will fire you and it will go on your DAC. Not all will do this, but there are some shady companies out there that like to have a puppet on a string. Or have you under the thumb.

Not telling you this to discourage you, but want you to be aware of the system. Some are cut throats and will take advantage of you.

We will definitely keep this in mind! Seems like we have so much to learn. This forum has already been a wealth of information. Thanks again!

WHAT TRUCKERJO TOLDYOU IS A FACT.although you may or may not find a fly by night out fit that will hire you i doubt employment would last very long.
in this business alcohaul offenses are instant death as far as driving is concearned is it right no it is not but the insurance company seems to be in control at this point get your self an attorney its cheaper then running around blind trying to get somthing done and it is very dificult to do an attorney can get it taken care of in less then a month for between 400 and 500 bucks then it will be off his record for good .
best of luck to you and yours .---southernpride

hello, guys i was fired for having an empty beer can in my trash in the sleeper of a team truck. will i be able to continue to work for other companies? i had the beer when i was off duty and forgot that the can was in my trash, my coworker ratted me out about it being in the trash.

and my coworker was telling me i will never work again as truck driver because nobody will hire me. i don't understand what is going on? i wasn't ticketed, or tested or anything. just an empty can in the trash from a beer i had when off duty.. any advice will be appreciated, i am very concerned.. juslisen678@gmail.com
