If it was yours well here is your sign, If it wasn't then thank your friends because the hand of one is the hand of all. Really people don't value a cdl as anything anymore. Having a CDL should make you more cautious not less.

    MachoCyclone and UsualSuspect Thank this.

Here is a list of the Laws on the books as of 2013. The problem lies in the fact the officer didn't know if the cans were mty or full when put in the car. If you had had them in the truck, perhaps you could have said you were hauling trash home. Each adult in the vehicle is responsible if something like this happens. If you had a child in the car, I imagine they could have gotten you both for endangerment of a minor with todays's rules.
I know this has been a no-no for as long as I remember. I can't say I didn't take a mixed drink of some sort home from mom and dad's house, they were on the next driveway from us, but I know it was illegal.

I certainly hope you can find another job.

Okay personally unless there is underlying conditions I would have had the OP pour any alcohol out. Unless the driver had been drinking or other factors I didn't write many of those at all.

AR used to be a dry state where we lived 43 yrs ago. And of course on Friday night everyone went over the border to MO to buy. I guess many a poor soul had their booze confiscated (rumors were they took it back to drink), or emptied out. Times change.
