I don't know if now would be a good time to try and start on your own. Also have you checked on insurance I hear it's really high for new intrants right now.

The other thing is do you have your own customers or going to run off the boards because if you look at what they are offering on the load boards now it's pathetic.

Am in Fort Worth Texas ya got to consider this year rate went up for insurance even For little car I have a clean driving record knocking on wood but that what am hearing I just got off the company I was lease to it was 1200 a month and last year it was 1k

I started up here in minnesota 4 years ago with my authority my insurance was only $6700 for first year and now its down to $4700 could not see paying 1200 or more a month but good luck.

Doing it right now only means that enthusiasm is winning over common sense. I'd start to write the new chapter when this virus thing is over, so that everybody goes back to work and there is more freight to pull.
Getting own authority does not automatically mean that things will get better, especially money - wise.
