I worked in their shop probably 15 years ago. Trucks are
the best maintained I have ever seen. Dealer pays a
premium for his used trucks.
Only complaint I ever heard from drivers was they had
to lie on their logbooks a lot. Mainly because of having to go
to tank washes after pretty much every delivery. Sometimes
they would deliver in the evening and than sit at a tank wash
for hours during the night and next morning be sent to reload.
I assume they are on computer logs now so they may have
changed some of that.
Danny himself was a good man......his son was starting in the
company as a dispatcher.......I often wondered how he turned
out???? So often the kids end up destroying what the dad built.
Danny started the company himself from scratch. The location
he is in now is at least the third one. He started out in a small
space downtown-------than he built the shop northwest of town
where the Crown Farm Equipment place is now. That was Danny's
second location and when he out grew that he built the location
east of town where he is now. -
@rcelmo , who are you driving for these days?

to the landfill. Four loads a day and home every night......
pays decent. Equipment is crap, maintenance is even worse.......
but, home every night is hard to beat.tony97905 Thanks this. -
