Opinion on Galaxy 77 CB

    Thanks again kd5drx and TriAxle. kd5, I appreciate you sharing the info about the switches. I have not really gotten to try out the radio yet because I wanted to hook it up in the truck I drive at work and am out right now from having surgery. I will for sure just stay with the 40 ch. of the cb...That fine and coarse control does what? TriAxle, I hope your Galaxy works well for you. Which one did you get if you got that one? Good luck. Thank you both again.

    IMHO I would not waste my money on a Galaxy, Texas Ranger, or any other 10 meter radio.
    You have experience with both Cobra and Uniden radios. Were you satisfied with their perfromance?
    As I'm sure someone will verify, having a good antenna system (antenna/coax/swr), and no I ain't talking about some clear insulation, with gold woven wire, will do more for you.
