Central PA? It's a box between Allentown, scranton-frystown into Harrisburg or even state college up towards say williamsport. Which is it?

    Forget that question, it's rhetorical.

Try tankers. If you have a chance to get into tanking do it. But you will be trained closely as those tankers demand something a little special. For example take a large coffee without lid, put it on the cab floor in front of your shifter. Now drive. Don't you spill it.

If you did not spill it then you qualify as tanker.

Dry vans are nice. But I get bored with them, not just bored but really.. neglectful bored with them, Papers please. Stamped, throw doors shut, seal it and drive. Nothing at all to do like in flatbed or tanking. To me vans are not bad but mindless. Now I am not knocking vans. They have their uses. I rather have a reefer and did because PA is a land of apple cider and foods out of the dutch country. And could load that reefer like a van now and then.

Im too long here in Arkansas to help you with the current state of PA, which is one of my favorites. If you ever run US 322 up 7 Mountains or down you will know why.

Ever since Quality Carriers took it over and that Michele got a swelled head because they made her a driver manager. Yet my husband has an MBA and can't get a job anywhere as a driver manager. I'm totally fed up with her treatment of my husband. It is downright harassment. He's quiet and shy. I speak up and she hates my guts. Lol

Make sure to avoid F.T. Silfies/JP Donmoyer. It's like a living hell driving their tankers!

Ono and yes, Ryan still works there, but they all stick together like glue. What do you think of a driver manager being arrested for a DUI/ possession of pot and paraphernalia just a year ago, plus multiple harassment of people and thievery has worked at JP since 9/14. Yep I did research since my last post. She has harassed my husband to no end and we have the emails to prove it. She is NUTS! The whole company is being sued by a bank for a permanent injunction against them and a temporary restraining order too. This JP Donmoyer is UNREAL.

Wow. Things must be worse than I thought! I did hear that Ryan was given a big promotion when Silfie's took over, and he started getting rather arrogant shortly afterwards. I still speak to the guy that trained me when I was there, but with the amount of time he's been there, I guess he doesn't worry about too much of the office shenanigans. Dispatch was one of the reasons I left there. They definitely had their favorites. And for a while, I was one of the favorites. But my original dispatcher (who was great) ended up going back into a driving position. The new one and I did not hit it off too well. Especially after sending me to Gallatin TN with a load, then deadheading me back to Genoa OH to pick up a $120 load, with no deadhead pay. That was the final straw.
