I don't think anyone that would pay good with tank will touch you for know, if I get it right you and your friend finish class at the same time, if yes no company that is in there right mind will allow you and her to team , if swift tells you yes both of you can team I will pray for you and her , I am a old man out here 25 years plus I would love to talk to you and your friend please don't make that mistake it can end future before it even begin OK ,don't let does you know that put you guys up to fail ,you can not team for none of these real good big boy with out 1to 2 years solo , look at dart not the best and not the biggest they will not let you have a rider much less teaming with out 1 year experience you can ask after 6 months but most likely it going to be no ,please please spend some time out here before thinking of teaming with one, and if you most team please do it with someone with a lot of experience are you will pay with your life,

Please always make good decisions everywhere in your adventures. Never push a bad situation. Work hard and make good decisions in your driving, and the rest will take care of itself. DON'T TRY AND TAKE SHORTCUTS, and you guys will be OK.

I remember you, OP. Congrats on your CDL!

IMO if you like what you see at Swift so far, stay put and finish your contract. Get your miles and experience, use the time to become a better driver, and learn more about the day to day life of a trucker. Watch, listen, ask questions, figure out where your niche is in trucking.

Best of luck to you and your co-driver. Rubber side down!

Trimac Transportation and Schneider Bulk run tanker teams and both hire new cdl grads.

Another well paying team outfit that hires new cdl grads is TWT Refrigerated Service. Pay is $.60 cpm and trucks have Tripac APU because even teams have wait times on occasion. The APU keeps it comfy in the truck plus powers cooking, television, computer, etc.
