My advice to anyone thinking about coming into Oregon is just don't come.

It's really stupid and too confusing. Besides, there's really no money here anyways.

Indeed, it may be less expensive and less of a hassle to just drive the rest of the way up Idaho to 90.

So Oregon, New Mexico have bond permits. Ny requires a special sticker, is there any other states with special requirements to drive through them?

Kentucky. No IFTA. You have to file with them separately. They issue you a number you used to have to post on your truck. You don’t anymore but you do have to have the permit.

That’s why you’ll notice most trucks in the eastern US post a DOT, MC and KYU number on the truck.

Ok, two weeks or so have passed. Now I have a customer who most definitely wants to pay me and pay me well to run to Portland. NO response on my emails to Oregon Commerce and Compliance to get registered.

You cannot register online without a CCD account number, which you obviously have to call for. Guess what? Now they are closed, presumably for the wildfires.

So whatdya do, as an O/O not set up with them? Just drive over and hit the first scalehouse?

I think you can do it all online. Have you tried their web site?

In the age of COVID and wildfires I have no idea. But before if you got to a scale without having your stuff in order it was too late.

I would say call the westbound scale at Farewell Bend and see if they have info.

Yep, you have to have a registration number which is not your MC or DOT. I do not have this number.

I would love to if I could find their number anywhere. Everything I have found points to one phone number, one office:

    3930 FAIRVIEW INDUSTRIAL DR SE
