Yes I did. For quite a while. When I went to work for TA, Johnny and Trudy had a first class operation. Then they brought Russ in and moved Bledsoe up to operations. It went down hill fast from there and you can not imagine the shear heartbreak of watching TA go from the kind of company it was to the kind of company it is. They used to only hold orientation about once or twice a month with about 10 to 15 drivers in it. You can see the change just in that. When any company has a high turnover rate, there is always a very good reason and it's usually the same, the company is NOT driver friendly. It's all about what's going to make the upper and middle levels of management look good in numbers and to the owners.

Best of luck getting squared away from this. A word of caution: Pay careful attention to what TA places on your DAC record if you quit now.

I think that companies should to like "hidden students"...to where at though they get to see how they trainiers act...because if i'm driving...i would want my trainier watching me in passenger...i don't wanna drive alot until i'm use to it...and if i don't wanna do something...i'm not going to be forced too...do the students have to turn in sheets or paperwork about the experience they had with the trainier?...i would like to maybe sit and talk with my trainier for a couple minutes about what he plans on doing and how he plans on teaching me before we leave the terminal to make sure we on the same page...

I appreciate your comments and insight, very interesting. Thanks alot.

Maybe it is me being older than I used to be, but I have such a hard time reading longs posts with no paragraphs, lol.... I usually get to the 3rd line and lose track.:biggrin_25526:

Maybe it is just me, but it makes my head hurt. Just an FYI, not trying to say your posts are not helpful at all, Thanks very much for taking your time.
