    Hi TD,

Glad it's not all pi$$ and vinegar anymore.

Heck, soon it will be all milk and honey.

Hmmm...I'm a 'Skin and I'm not a drunk, I refuse to be held hostage by guv'mint money or the Reservation and I'll lay dollars to donuts I can drive circles around him.

Perhaps he forgot that little part of history when the first wave of immigrants was kept alive for that first couple of years by Indians.

He is obviously very ignorant. Most of the tribes are self supporting now. 'Skins have to qualify for government aid just like his white trailer trash friends. There is no longer a straight handout any more.

But I'm happy things are getting better for you. We'll talk sometime when you can.

I don't know how Swift is ran, but you have to report this loser. I'm not suggesting, neither am I asking. According to what you have written in previous posts, you can have this guy fired for crossing the line if you were to record his ignorant conversations.

Me personally, I wouldn't have it. I understand females have it the worst out here. Which is why if things get worse, please report him and get a better trainer. A trainer that's at least a human being. You are wasting your time trying to "stick it out" with a bigot.

But even so, Swift pays better during training than most.
If you were working for Werner you probably couldn't afford the hot sauce.:biggrin_25521:

People get mad, people have opinions, I have mine and some of mine are not 'popular' if I told him I was uncomfortable, I am sure he would stop. I mean today /i/ started talking about how drug smugglers were stupid and how to do it properly, im sure swift would not like knowing I started that.

It happens. I understand that its not proper or should be done but, not everything is done by the book right?

I know the parts he does 'wrong' and not to do them but ....

I know this: If it gets untolorable, or if he kicks me off as he has threatened, this thread alone will serve as my log of things that have happened here. And I have people (Like injun) that can confirm I am who I say I am (If I have to go that route)

Update, last night got us through some mountains. But was so focused on that I did not watch the fuel gage, and it was #### close.we stopped at some 24 hour place at 3.78 a gallon. He was not happy. He took out one on the yellow poles getting out but said he didn't. Guss wind must have blown it over. He managed about 3 or 4 hours sleep while I was driving. I managed a few today, it well be interesting. I can't wait till I'm on my own and I cobb do things the way I know they should be. Actually doing pti, reporting damaged trailers. He does not want to slow down. And while I understand, it won't be what I do, even if it means less money.

You should be insisting on doing these things.

If you are driving and something happens it'll be you that gets the ticket.
If you get in an accident because you failed to do a proper pti, well, you can probably kiss your career goodbye.

If he won't let you, you should call your DM and say what is happening - and request a different mentor.

After reading this thread I have to agree. Even if it doesn't bother you and you may not have any ill effects from it you're actually doing the next student a disservice by not saying anything. I'm sure that's easier said then done and you don't want to be "that guy" but he sounds unsafe. Anyway, my $0.02.
