I hope that's the case. O/O's who train should be made to follow strict guidelines for training new drivers. And if they can't, they should be eliminated from the program.

They'll make plenty of money. I think this guy was being greedy and taking advantage of a kid. :biggrin_25510:

^^^ Thats not right driver :)

Anyway: First day with Rick (My new trainer) is done.

And he is the best! (Lets hope it stays that way, im sure it will) Get this, he is a L./O, and decided that he would bobtail, on his own fuel to the nearest walmart so I could get supplies, then, even drove BACK there when I forgot to get change, his dime! Then we started my day at noon, at 11 I finished, 45 minutes for drop and hook stuff, and PTI, maybe more, and, he kept his part of the bargin (Nice, no yelling, trust, willing to teach) so I kept mine, I laid down 566 miles for him today. :)

He wants to start my backs tomarrow, find abandon warehouses and back to the docks there, and he said he will set up a backing course for me in some spots he knows of, he wants more than the 40 required, he wants about 100 of each if I understand him right, and im all for it, I promised him if he does his end, ill do my best for him in return, and so far I have not been disappointed, I mentioned my friends here, and he was excited, and hoped we would run into some of you (specially you injun) so, yeah, its all good now I think.
Drive a 500 mile empty to the border in AZ picked up a trailer headed for texas. :)

Excellent man! Big difference, huh?! It really sounds like this guy is going to put some effort into actually training you! All that aside, another day down! Keep it rolling, drive safe!
