Sucks that y'all couldn't get more miles done but glad you chose not to drive in such an unsafe situation. Hope y'all get it fixed soon.

Me too, I wanna make him some money. Right now I'm salary. 450 rolling or not. He is the one missing out. And as good a guy he is this is unacceptable to me.

I'll trade your wet weather for sitting in a kenworth dealer all day.. though I did get the truck to St.Louis..

Well, wet weather without winshield whipers (say that five times fast) Today was more driving, putting the miles behind, we deliver tonight end of his shift (490 miles to go) Then I might get some more backing practice in today, I did my first back in a truck stop, no trucks within 7 spaces but still :)

All in all . good day

Sometimes stuff like that happens. Glad you're once again ready to roll.

Well, the first REAL ### hattery I have seen from swift comes into play. And its not company BS its Dispatch BS, so far swift as a company is good, but some of the employees? eh. :D

And, I finally saw rick loose his cool, and understandably so.

We get dispatched from NV to IL, 1650 miles, good deal.

He re-routes it via maps (after accepting it) so he can stop home for christmas to see his wife and 3 kids, all is good! We go shower, get ready to roll come back...still no preplan on the qual.

Call in, they gave it to a company driver, even though rick responded first and it was given to him by his DM personally. He explanes that he wants to do it to avoid CO, to go home, and to get good miles, very chill....so they say they will see what they can do...

BEEP! Qualcomm: Pick up Reno NV (good!) drop off ...yup..denver CO...the state he EXPRESSLY said he was going to AVOID then the kick in the balls the second beep: "Pick up: Denver CO, to <same place> IL" They routed him SPACIFICALLY to go TO colorado and thusly AWAY from his home. He turned it down flat, and told them as such that he wanted none of it, and wanted his old load back, he was told to basically 'deal with it' and more loads keep coming but ALL of them as '## " loads, normally some 300+ DH miles to pick up and then drop off 600 miles away, good thing im not near that dispatcher.
