Thanks for the honest update. Nothing worth a hoot in this life comes without a struggle. Sure you want to quit. You're tired, your confidence shaken and so forth. Failure is not an option as you said. Success doesn't come easy. You're earning your wings bro.... keep at it.
I admire your honesty and tenacity.walstib, TruckerDragon and just lil me Thank this. -
Or not time to roll, trailer in the shop so no time to run it thank god, maybe I can get a nap in.

With a trailer....
"STEER INTO YOUR FEARS"...if the trailer appears in that mirror...turn the TOP of the wheel thatta way.
That phrase helps me.
TruckerDragon Thanks this. -
Trainer decided to take a reset, so we both have hours, that makes me feel better.
walstib Thanks this. -
TD,
Thanks for being so honest, good thread.
You'll do fine,
Good Luck !!TruckerDragon Thanks this. -
I apprecate all the encouragement, I really do, and I see alot of threads complaining, or saying how easy it is, and as embarassing as I am sure it will be for me at times, I plan to make this thread as brutally honest as I can, people need to know whats out there, even if it means I get made fun of

Trainer decided he wanted ours so we tcalled the load in Kansas City Kansas (I think is where we are, or is it edwardsville) and we leave 8am Denver Terminal time tomarrow.
Reason for this is, apparently, we can drive more hours or somthing, he said somthing like he can drive 6 to 10 then I can drive 6 to 10? I dunno Im sure he will explane it again when its time
I still feel weak and sick from last night, 4 monsters or so, and only one meal at 1pm tore me up good, energy drinks are the work of the devil.davect, The Challenger and just lil me Thank this. -
One of the hardest parts of what you're doing is getting your body off of the so-called "normal" sleep schedule you've been used to.
Training yourself to nap whenever you can is hard, but something you need to get used to. Real sleep is a much better solution to fatigue than any amount of caffiene. Stay away from those "energy" drinks - its just alot of low grade speed (caffiene) and sugar. You'll probably do better with a diet soda or a moderate amount of coffee - and some food in your belly.just lil me and TruckerDragon Thank this. -
I don't wanna get fat(ter) and coffee goes right through me normally, BUT I will see about getting used to diet soda, my main problem is I get the trots/runs/whatever and my trainer seems to like to only stop one time for food and barely any other time. Once I am solo (If I make it) I can adapt even better, but I will try to do any suggestions you all have to make it happen, with help im sure I can find a combo that works for me.
Thank you IP, Injun, Gears, Everyone
