Orientation at Tyson???

I work for tyson last 5 months .they give 2500 2800 hundred miles week .everybody is going to e-logs .they take of. There trucks better then most .they pay better miles per load then most .they give you a route and pay those miles ..better then most..they get you home when your ready ..better then most ..the benifets are awsome I pay famliy medical and dental cost me 40. Dollars a week..pound for pound better company..

 

Do they hire student grads?

 

Yes they do but not from just any school you will have to call them their training is pretty good.

 

Does Tyson hold firm to 1 day off for every 14 out?

 

You get 1 day off for every week out ..so. you get 2 days when your out 14 days I took 5 days to move wasn't a big deal ..

 

How easy is to get in with Tyson?What I mean is would they consider someone with some gaps on there employment history within last 5 years.I seem have came across an issue with that,so that's why I ask.

 

How are the new Trks? APUs? What area do they hire out of? (TX?/GA?) how hard is it to get a route? Are there any O/O? Thank You

 

No o/o but they use greatland company. Trucks there kinda o/o ..really not sure about gaps tx. And ga. They hire in bothe areas..its a good company ..they good about getting you home have freight goes everywere

You talk about Beef Patch, they don't like Tyson drivers for some reason..
IBP, Inc., formerly known as Iowa Beef Processors, Inc., now Tyson Fresh Meats.. So, I'm not sure why, they don't like tyson drivers, maybe
cause Tyson buy them out......
