Well just be careful with what they say, sometimes they say one thing but mean something else. Like when I got there, they said, "Don, just make yourself at home", then about a half hour later they were all yelling at me, "Don! What the hell are you doing, you can't walk around here in your underware and tee shirt like that!!!" and I replied, "Well you said make myself at home and this is what I wear at home." So be careful of ambiguity.
A valuable lesson learned!!! lol

Maybe shorts and a tee shirt for the first day and physical would be a good idea, since they really shouldn't make you strip down or nothing. But otherwise, the old rule may apply, "Dress for the job." After all, they may look at you and wonder is that how your going to dress when your out there working? Now mind you, you can once out here, dress and ware anything you like, no body really seems to care and there is no real dress code. However, first impressions!!! So it never hurts to dress and look sharp! Maybe it makes a difference, maybe not? But you never know.
Just thoughts my friend, good luck to you on your new journey.

Do not at any time wear flip flops or any type of open toed shoe, sandals or the like. It would also be better if your soles were rubber. They really don't care for leather soles either as they are not slip resistant. Otherwise be neat and presentable. Remember until you get your driver code you are still in interview mode.

Don't wear shorts and t shirt to orientation. Wear jeans, or khakis and a collared shirt and tennis shoes for the 2 1/2 days. Like is mentioned above you are still in the process of being interviewed until you receive your driver code on that Thursday. Be courtesy of course, don't be rude, or tell off colored jokes to anyone during those few days. Present yourself like you want the job. Doesn't matter if other people are doing it. If you make it pass your first day chances are you will be hired from there. Make sure all your paperwork is in order and that you have previous employers names addresses, etc. also make sure you have 3-5 references. They ask for that, do be ready to put someone you know name down. After I filled out all this information I didn't hear anything else about it, but I tell you this so you can be most prepared. Just remember job interview and you should be ok. It's not stressful, in fact it's kind of laid back, but business focused. Nothing to worry about if you have the things listed and aren't on drugs or have a habit of drinking alcohol.
