You should NEVER be in the top bunk. While the truck is moving.

I had that "crash webbing" stuff buckled in, but the rocking, bouncing etc was really something else. I don't see how anyone could possibly sleep up there when the truck is moving. I don't know why they put there trainees up there for team driving/training it seems like a bad idea.

You’re trainer was stupid or selfish. You need to share the bottom bunk. Talk to the company and get a new trainer that will
Either way just deal with the bs till you get you’re own truck

Never ever under any circumstances go in top bunk when truck is moving .. Being with trainer is the worse then walking on hot coals but you gotta get it over with. Good luck

Doesn't matter. First. If you're with a trainer that plans on you driving team. They're not a trainer. They're using you for a free team driver. Second. The top bunk, webbing or not, is a death trap.

Of course your trainer is being nice to you. Every mile you drive team. Is money in his pocket. But he's not training you.

It's one of the reasons Stevens Transport limits combined on duty time with trainers.

I haven't run team for near 12 years but I do remember it wasn't till the 3rd day that I was tired enough to get any meaningful sleep. By the 4th I was so tired the road condition didn't matter.
It helps to have a decent driver...
And the lower bunk will always have less movement.

I can see it being a very dangerous place to be, as well as being near impossible to sleep when moving at least for me.

If I would do it all over again, I would go with Prime. They have their #### together. I've never work for WE express, but I do enjoy following a lot of trainees stories on here or youtube. And I've never heard a good experience from WE. I am surprised, he didn't strap you to the catwalk, since all 3 bunks are occupied, OH wait that's CR England, nvm
