    I will be graduating from Roadmaster Thursday and then heading off to orientation for us xpress. I want to thank this forum for the support and helpful topics discussed on this site.if your going to orientation on the 14th let me no so we can meet up, also what should I expect from us xpress orientation

    If it is like other mega carriers, expect three days of lies, half truths, and long boring videos.
    The small company that I just started with, did orientation in a half a day.

    No, I haven't driven for US express, but I have been through orientation, at two mega companies (Prime and swift).

    swift SUCKED. Prime, at least has good fleet managers, when the company tries to screw you over, a good fleet manager will fix it.

    Probably make a lot more money with Melton. The good money with USX is team driving. Melton has the best healthcare for driver and family and drivers average over $52K.
    Roadmaster is a good school; make it pay off for you with a high paying company such as Melton or tankers.

    If you don't have a friend to team with, I wouldn't choose USX, and I do work for them. For the moment...
    Don't make a poor career choice because u chose the company that hired u first.
