Yeah I had one like that a few weeks ago. It was just shy of 1100 take home. This week was just shy of 1000.

As for the tolls, TMC has IPASS in there trucks now. That works everywhere EZpass and Ipass are accepted. Indiana and Ohio toll roads but IMHO those 2 roads are about worthless.

Good luck driver! Those are great pays but I averaged around $1200 a wk as a company driver. Personal best-$5600. After fuel insurance and all the other deductions. That was my truck though. On the orientation side of the conversation if you're an experienced driver its only three days and Randy is a trip.

Whats going on?? There hasnt been much "traffic" on these threads in awhile.
I know that Christmas just blew through, but, I wonder why the drivers arent posting?

Thanks guys for the replies. I trust you had a good Christmas. Hows the company treating you? Are you staying busy? My job has slowed to a "screeching halt"
Milskired, where do you normally stop for your 10 hr? Wheres your favorite place to park and why? I would think the noise and traffic of a truck stop would get old. Can you stay for 10 hrs in a state rest area? And, is there a list of states that allow it?
Thank you all for your inputs. You REALLY help us new/student drivers!!

I try to make it to the consignee the night before and do my 10 hour break there. It makes it easy on you if it takes a while to get off loaded. You dont have to start your logs until you are off loaded and leave.

Yes you can stay in rest areas for 10 hours no problem and yes I have been very busy. I have been off this week but I was very busy and running hard and I will be again next week when I go back to work.
