orientation pay at prime

That's not the way we're supposed to be doing things, nor is it legal. If you feel the need to do something about it - let your FM know what's going on. That's the only way it gets fixed.

 

Things went south with my trainer last night, im stuck in Augusta for the weekend and it seems like the trainer thats been with the company a long time wins on any disagreements. Gotta wait for another trainer and im hoping for the best.

 

Sorry to hear about your troubles, dude. It's prolly for the best you are off that truck, and getting a new trainer. Some gears just don't mesh.

 

Yea, I'm hoping for the best. Tomorrow I have to call in and see what they have planned for me as far as getting another trainer.

 

Not always... depends on what went down. I've seen some trainers loose big time - OTOH, it was their own undoing.

 

Don't sweat it, I had a student went through 4 trainers, that may hold the record. I went through the training ######## a few years back. My trainer insisted I sleep in the top bunk. Old Jack the fleet manager didn't seem much concerned about that as he was about Don Lacey giving him a call about his trainer. You need to look out for your own interests, don't count on trainers or even fleet managers.

 

I just got to Springfield this morning & start orientation tomorrow. Will have 4 days to pass my CDL permit test & move on to next round. Wish me luck!
