Hmmm...I wonder how many loads that people at ALL companies have been sent to that were not ready when they were supposed to be? Loads that you arent equipped for? I know on the refer side, if we go to a load without load locks we can get turned away. Who's fault would it be if I showed up without loadlocks? Prime's? NOPE. MINE. I wonder how many loads people at other companies went to that "Didnt exist" because they were cancelled? Ive been to a few. The one's I went to, the shipper never informed Prime that they cancelled the loads...was that PRIMES fault? Nope.
LOL...whatever. -
Boy this thread sure did catch a bad case of the drifts.
-
Yeah whatever. Your not paying for the fuel. I don't haul oversize. Nice going to get a load you don't have equipment for. They know when a load is over sized. They also know I do not haul over size. I have had loads canceled as a co driver. I was paid to go there tho.
-
And as a lease op at Prime, for the loads that were cancelled that I had, I was paid compensation from Prime. They never once NOT paid me. In fact they sometimes paid me for stuff that I didnt think I should have been paid for. 100.00 to take an empty 5 miles and drop it? Paid and didnt know my FM did so until I got my statement.
its funny...Im not haz-mat and they never ONCE sent me on a hazmat load. Maybe you just had a ####### FM. And yes, I DO pay for the fuel. -
What kind of a jacked up co makes company drivers by flatbed equipment? Chains, binders, tarps. etc?
-
Im sure, as a Co driver, you were not required to "by" (or buy) chains, etc. Co drivers are provided with the equipment they need.
Im taking a break...my head hurts arguing with you. Be back in a bit though so dont think Im ignoring you. -
No they are not. Or didn't back then. We were in with the company drivers to begin with in orientation. They were told that they had to furnish the securement equipment and tarps. Check into it if you do not believe me.
-
That's weird that someone told you that you could be home weekly. At orientation, they tell everybody they should expect to be out 4 to 6 weeks at a time.TruckingTiger Thanks this. -
Hey NoTarps and TruckingTiger....PM's work great for this sort of thing.
.....Another thread bites the dust.
