    IP, gotta ya. I would like to stay regional so thinking I will do refeer. I will be calling Recruiting back tommorow to see what they can offer me. Thanks for the help.

    There is a SE regional flatbed gig - but we do have regional stuff on the reefer side as well. It may be a case of going OTR until something upens up for you...

    I hear about this stuff second-hand, so do ask the recruiters - they may not have a lot of relavant information either. Last one I heard about was arranged through a drivers FM.

    That's what I always hear from the regional / dedicated guys too. For example, I asked a guy who was running dedicated for our big customer out of Reed City, MI how he got that gig. He said his FM just called him one day and asked if he wanted it. The guy lives in Reed City. He had to take one of our lightweight trucks, but gets by the house a couple times per week, gets steady and predicted miles each week, and is off on the weekends. Sounded like a real sweet gig.
